"Choices"

I really enjoyed this poem. It brings out a realization of her decision she seemed to be consumed by her choice of creating a view of a snowy mountain but then becomes aware of the way she is changing what is or will be. The significance of the nest consumes her, she experiences a sort of appreciation for the natural way of things.

  1. Yes, the impact of human intervention--think again of "The Fish"--on "what is," on those other worlds, and the consequences of those alterations--for ourselves and those others (this can be nature, per se, but what else?)is certainly one of the questions the poem addresses. See my comments on Stephen's blog, as well.
